How FloorFeed Badges works
For studios
Award badges from your game, deploy your own collection and let players claim without a wallet.
FloorFeed Badges for game studios
FloorFeed Badges (badges.floorfeed.io) gives your players achievements they keep for good: soulbound badges on Base, awarded with one API call and claimed with an email, a passkey or the player's own wallet, with FloorFeed paying the gas. You deploy and own each collection from your own wallet; FloorFeed never holds your keys or your players'.
- Sign in on badges.floorfeed.io and open Dashboard.
- Deploy a soulbound collection for your badge from your own wallet: the Dashboard links to floorfeed.io/soulbound.
- Under Games, type a name and tap New game. Then give a badge key (first-win) and a name, pick the collection, and tap Add badge. Turn on Client-awardable only for badges a game build may award itself.
- Create API key (in the API keys card) for your server. For a game with no server, tap Create publishable key under the game.
- Award from your server with the SDK or POST /v1/badges/award. Each game's line shows awarded, claimed and the median time to claim.
- Players: type a player id and tap Look up to see their badges. Webhooks: paste your https endpoint and tap Add endpoint (keep the signing secret), then Send test event and Deliveries. Players' claim gas shows what's used; Set cap sets a lower monthly limit.
- Team: Invite a developer or Invite a viewer makes a one-time link (7 days) to send your teammate. They open it signed in to join.
- On a team? The Account card at the top of the Dashboard lists My account and each studio you joined: tap one to work on its games. A developer can add games, badges and award; a viewer can only look. The studio's API keys, billing, webhook secrets, gas cap and team stay with its owner.
- Plans
- Free is open now: 250 badges a month, $1 of claim gas, 100 players a month who sign in to claim (players with their own wallet are unlimited). Paid plans (Indie $29, Studio $199) are coming soon; the Pricing page and the Billing card say Coming soon and nothing can be charged. Enterprise from $1,000: [email protected].
- SDKs
- JavaScript/TypeScript (install from floorfeed.io until it's on npm) and plain REST for any engine; Unity and Godot clients are in preview (Docs → Unity and Godot). Server keys (ffsk_) never go in a game build.
- Terms
- Using the API means agreeing to the Developer Terms, the Acceptable use and badge content policy, and, for player data, the Data processing terms (links at the foot of every badges.floorfeed.io page).
- Not for Steam games
- Steam forbids games that issue NFTs. Web, itch.io, Epic and mobile games can use it; badges never unlock paid features.
- Limits
- Base only for now. Publishable keys award one player at a time and each badge once per player; anyone can read them from a game build, so client-awarded badges can be cheated.
Use FloorFeed Badges from your AI app
FloorFeed's AI connector lets Claude, ChatGPT and other AI apps run your games and badges in plain words: make a game, add a badge, award it, see who claimed. It can't sign or send anything: anything on chain is a request you sign on FloorFeed.
- Add the connector to your AI app: https://floorfeed.io/api/mcp (Settings → AI on floorfeed.io has Copy address, and floorfeed.io/mcp has the steps for each app).
- Sign in, choose Market + my account and tap Allow. Then on floorfeed.io, open Settings → AI and turn on Prepare trades for that app.
- Ask: "Draft a soulbound collection on Base called Pixel Arena." Open the link it gives you, connect your wallet and tap Deploy.
- Ask: "Add a game called Pixel Arena, with a badge first-win on that collection." Then "Award first-win to player-123." A new player's answer has their claim link, shown once: pass it only to that player.
- When the player claims, you get a request for the mint: open it and sign it in your wallet.
- Ask how it's going: "How's first-win doing?", "Has player-123 claimed?", "How much of my claim gas is left?"
- Free claims need your server
- Awards made here have no voucher, so you sign each claim's mint. For free, relayed claims, your own server signs vouchers with the SDK (Docs → Free claims). A key never goes through a chat.
- What it can't do
- Sign or send; claim for a player; make or read a server API key or a webhook secret; add a webhook, invite a teammate, or change your plan, gas cap or trophy case setting. It only ever works on the account that signed in, so a teammate's AI can't act for your studio.
- Publishable keys
- It can make and revoke them, because they aren't secret: they ship in your game build and only award badges you marked client-awardable.
- Turning it off
- Turn off Prepare trades in Settings → AI and new changes stop at once and unsigned requests are withdrawn. Awards it already recorded stay until you cancel them.
- Limits
- 300 changes a day per app or link, 100 players an award call, 30 questions a minute. Your plan's limits apply as usual. Docs → From your AI app has the calls in full.
Soulbound collections (badges that can't be sold)
A soulbound token stays with the wallet it's given to: nobody can sell, send, list or offer on it, the holder included. Use them for memberships, credentials, event badges and game achievements. You deploy the collection from your own wallet and sign every issue, revoke and recovery yourself; FloorFeed never holds your keys.
- Go to Create → Soulbound collection (floorfeed.io/soulbound). Pick the network (Base Sepolia is a free test network), a name, a symbol and a description.
- Choose who receives: I issue them (airdrop), or Listed wallets claim (paste the wallets). Then the three switches: I can revoke tokens, I can recover tokens, and One per wallet. They can't be changed after deploying. Tap Save draft.
- On the collection's page, connect the wallet that will own it and tap Deploy. Your wallet sends it and pays the network fee.
- Issue: open the Issue tab, paste up to 100 wallets and tap Issue. Your wallet signs one transaction (on Solana, one per wallet).
- Issued lists every token: Revoke takes one back (burns it); Recover moves it to the holder's new wallet (burns it and issues a new one, linked). Holder lookup shows every token a wallet got.
- On every page
- Soulbound tokens show Soulbound — not transferable, and FloorFeed has no Buy, Sell, List, Offer or Send for them, nor will an AI connector prepare those trades.
- Holders can always burn their own
- Even when revocation is off.
- From an AI app
- With FloorFeed's AI connector your AI can draft a collection and prepare issues, revokes and recoveries for you to sign, and look up holders. See Use FloorFeed Badges from your AI app.
- For developers
- Settings → Developers makes API keys for the /v1/soulbound API and the SDK (floorfeed.io/developers/soulbound; install it from floorfeed.io until it's listed on npm). Settings → Billing shows your plan, this month's mints and how many players signed in to claim.
- Plans
- The Free plan is open now: 250 mainnet badges a month (a hard stop), $1 of players' claim gas and 100 players a month who sign in to claim. Paid plans are coming soon and nothing can be charged until they open: Indie $29 a month (3,000 badges, then $0.01 each, $15 of gas, 500 sign-ins) and Studio $199 a month (30,000, then $0.006 each, $150 of gas, 3,000 sign-ins); Enterprise from $1,000 a month ([email protected]). Floor Feeders holders will pay half the monthly fee, and get 500 free badges a month on Free now. Test networks are free. Issuing, revoking and recovering from your own wallet still costs you the network fee.
- Players' claim gas
- Settings → Billing shows Players' free claims: the gas FloorFeed spent on your players' claims this period against your plan's allowance. Past it, new claims ask the player to pay the network fee themselves, until the next period. You can set a lower monthly cap with PUT /v1/soulbound/relay/cap; at 80% you get a notice.
- Limits
- Networks: Base Sepolia, Base, Ethereum, Robinhood Chain, Solana devnet and Solana, as each is switched on. Allowlist claims are EVM only. On Solana each token costs about 0.005 SOL of rent, part of it returned when it's revoked, and recovery on means you can also burn tokens there (one Solana permission covers both).
Claim links: earn now, claim later
Games and issuers can award soulbound tokens to players who don't have a wallet yet. The awards wait on FloorFeed with nothing on chain, and the player gets a claim link (floorfeed.io/claim/…) to collect them all at once.
- Open the claim link the game or issuer gave you. It lists your rewards.
- Pick a way in. Sign in with email: FloorFeed makes you a wallet that only you control. Use a passkey: Face ID, a fingerprint or a security key, if your FloorFeed account has a passkey (add one in Settings → Security). Or tap Use MetaMask (or your browser wallet's name) to claim to your own wallet without signing in. Signing in makes a FloorFeed account, which is for 18 and over; younger players claim to their own wallet.
- Your badges are listed by game; ones waiting for you are greyed out. Turn on I'm 13 or older (16 in the EU, unless a parent agreed).
- Tap Claim all (N) free when it says Free: FloorFeed pays the network fee: FloorFeed sends the claim for you and your badges arrive in a few minutes, with nothing to sign. The page shows each claim on its way, then in your wallet with a Transaction ↗ link.
- Otherwise tap Claim all (N): if the issuer signed vouchers, your wallet sends the claim and pays a small network fee; if not, the issuer is asked to send them, and they arrive once they sign.
- To skip this page next time, turn on Send future badges straight to this wallet: new badges from these games go to that wallet by themselves. Turn it off the same way.
- A free claim that's waiting (the game's free claims are used up for now, or the network fee is high) has Pay the network fee myself: your wallet sends it at once instead.
- Sign-ins per game
- Each game's plan includes so many players a month who sign in to claim (Free 100, Indie 500, Studio 3,000). When they're used up the page says so: sign out and claim with your own wallet instead, which always works and is free.
- Your link is your key
- Anyone with the link can claim to their wallet, so keep it private. The issuer can make you a new one.
- Free claims can't redirect anything
- FloorFeed's relay only pays the gas: the game's signed voucher decides what you get, and your link's own key decides which wallet gets it. It can't send your badge anywhere else.
- Limits
- A free claim waits when the network fee is over half a cent a badge (up to a day), and FloorFeed pauses free claims if its own spending runs unusually high. Up to 50 badges go in one claim.
- No personal data
- FloorFeed stores the game's player id or your email only as a one-way keyed hash.
- For issuers
- Award with POST /v1/soulbound/pending or the SDK's sbt.pending.award(); see floorfeed.io/developers/soulbound for the game-studio quickstart.
For players
Earn a badge, claim it free and show it off.
Your soulbound badges
Soulbound NFTs are badges that stay in the wallet they were sent to: they can't be sold, listed, offered on or sent. FloorFeed keeps them out of your NFT list and your portfolio value, and shows them on their own.
Tap a badge's art for the same full-screen viewer every NFT gets: the full-size picture, video or animation, zoom and downloads. Its details show the issuer, how it's earned, the wallet holding it and the mint on the explorer. There's no buy, list, offer or send, because a soulbound token never moves.
- On floorfeed.io, open Portfolio. Once you hold a soulbound badge (or issue a soulbound collection), a Soulbound tab appears next to NFTs.
- Each badge shows its art, name, network, the day it was minted and which of your wallets holds it, with a NON-TRANSFERABLE tag. Issuer ↗, Collection ↗ and Mint ↗ open the explorer so you can check it yourself.
- Soulbound collections you issue are listed under Issued by you, with how many were issued and how many claims wait for a mint. Issuer dashboard › opens the collection; Sign the waiting mint › appears when a mint request is ready for you.
- On fantasy.floorfeed.io, the same list is on My badges, under your Floor League badge cards, so you never have to switch sites.
Tip: The list covers every wallet linked to your account (Settings → Your wallets) on every network FloorFeed issues soulbound badges on, today Base and Solana. It lists badges from FloorFeed's own soulbound collections; a badge appears once its mint is confirmed on chain.
Try FloorFeed Badges: the demo
The demo at badges.floorfeed.io/demo lets anyone feel what players get: tap a Chomper ten times, earn the "Tried the demo" badge, and claim it for real on Base. FloorFeed pays the network fee.
- Open badges.floorfeed.io and tap Try the demo (or Demo in the menu).
- Tap the Chomper ten times. It bites with each tap, and the ten marks under it fill as you go.
- When you reach ten, tap Claim it. Your claim link opens: sign in with an email or a passkey, or connect your own wallet, turn on I'm 13 or older, and tap Claim all (1) free.
- The badge arrives in your wallet within a few minutes and shows in your trophy case. The collection's name under the badge links to it on Basescan.
- What the page shows
- Beside the game, the same award call a game's server sends. Copy it from the Copy button.
- Limits
- Three demo badges a visitor a day and a few hundred a day in all; one per wallet. Trying again in the same browser gives the same claim link.
- When it's off
- If the demo badge is switched off, the page says so before you start. You can still play and see the call.
Your trophy case and badge pages
Every badge you claim from a game on FloorFeed Badges goes in your trophy case at floorfeed.io/u/<your account name>: grouped by game, with how rare each one is (the share of the game's players who have it). It's private until you make it public.
- Open floorfeed.io/u/<your account name> while signed in (your account name is in Settings).
- Turn on Make my trophy case public. Anyone with the link then sees your badges; turn it off the same way.
- Tap a badge's art to view it full screen: the full-size picture, and its video or animation if it has one, with its issuer and how it's earned. Right-click or long-press it for View full screen and the links out.
- Badge page › opens its page: its game, how many players have it, and its collection on the explorer. On chain ↗ shows the transaction it arrived in.
- What shows
- Only badges on main networks that your linked wallets hold. Never your other NFTs, balances or wallet addresses. Test badges never show.
- Badge pages
- Public for any badge whose game is live: they show counts, never who holds it.
- Games can check
- A game or tournament can ask whether a public trophy case holds a badge (yes or no). A private one always answers unknown.
